"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination"- Carl Rogers
My years of experience both professionally and personally have led me to the reality that life will always come with challenges, at one point or another we all face crossroads, and those crossroads are often met with some level of uncertainty, anxiety or fear. What I have also learned is that those moments can be filled with excitement and opportunity as well as leading us towards more positive connections in life. I work from a collaborative, person centered approach, to create a safe supportive environment for self exploration and reflection, identifying and developing strengths and co-creating an action plan to bring you closer to your personally defined goals. I utilize empirically supported therapeutic approaches including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman Method and adapt to the needs of my clients for the best possible outcomes. I provide consistent and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I also integrate coaching techniques where applicable. With compassion and understanding, I work with you to promote understanding and healing so you can lead a more fulfilling life and experience more positive relationships. |

I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle through exercise, balanced nutrition, mindfulness and laughing until you cry. I am a nature lover, slightly obsessed with German Shepherd dogs and life-long learner. I have been married for over 25 years to my best friend and I have 3 adult children. I was raised in a law enforcement family and went on to marry into a public safety and first responder family. I am devoted and determined to make it safe and acceptable to admit when it's a bad day, rough week, or an exhausting career. It is the courageous one, not the weak one, who takes the steps to change the cycle. |
